Description

Summary: A Buyer Consultation is the first step to establishing rapport with a potential client. However, it is key to informing the public (client) about the duties that the Licensee will perform, informing them about the Buyer Advisory and how to best protect themselves through the Due Diligence period afforded them in the Purchase Contract. It is also important that the public understand that the Buyer Broker Agreement is the employment contract, how their real estate agent gets paid and by whom and Agency is how the Licensee provides representation. Lastly, it sets the stage for the Client to better understand what to expect during the buying process including what services will be provided by the Licensee, sample forms that will be utilized during the transaction and expectations of each party.

This class will be conducted via Zoom video conferencing. Zoom information to join the class will be shared in a reminder email the day before and the day of class.

IMPORTANT TECHNICAL AND FORMAT DETAILS
Per ADRE remote class guidelines for CE credit, you must be in camera view at all times. To verify your attendance and identity, you must use video and display your first and last name through Zoom for the course duration. Please treat the remote class as you would a live in-person class. Students may not use a mobile device to complete the course. You must be stationary and sitting at a desk/table as you would be in a live class. The instructor/monitor must be able to maintain visual and audio contact with you at all times. Class access will be locked 10 minutes after the start time. If you are unable to join, you have arrived too late.
