This course meets all three of the new ADRE required courses. Starting January 1, 2025, you will need to complete one hour of General CE credit each of Deed Fraud, Water, and Firewise to renew your Arizona real estate license.
This class will help equip you with essential knowledge on three critical topics: water management, Firewise practices, and deed fraud prevention. You'll gain insights into Arizona Water Management and the questions buyers should ask about water. We'll also delve into Firewise principles, teaching you how to implement safety measures that protect properties from wildfires. Additionally, we'll cover the red flags of deed fraud and the steps to safeguard against fraudulent activities that could jeopardize property ownership.

This class will be conducted via Zoom video conferencing. Zoom information to join the class will be shared in a reminder email the day before and the day of class.
Important Technical and Format Details
Per ADRE remote class guidelines for CE credit, you must be in camera view at all times. To verify your attendance and identity, you must use video and display your first and last name through Zoom for the course duration. Please treat the remote class as you would a live in-person class. Students may not use a mobile device to complete the course. You must be stationary and sitting at a desk/table as you would be in a live class. The instructor/monitor must be able to maintain visual and audio contact with you at all times. Class access will be locked 10 minutes after the start time. If you are unable to join, you have arrived too late.

About the Instructor
Keri Means has been part of the real estate industry for 22 years, where she enjoys being a Designated Broker for her own boutique brokerage for the last 15 years. Her latest endeavor is being a real estate instructor and an intuitive coach with her own school Ocotillo Education, LLC.
Involvement in the real estate industry is very important to her to keep up in an ever-changing market. She has been President of the Southeast Valley Regional Association of REALTORS® and state president for Women Council of REALTORS®. In continuing to support the industry she is currently on the professional standards committee, AAR Professional Development Committee, GRI work group and a Major Investor for RAPAC.
In her spare time, she loves to volunteer with McDowell Sonoran Conservancy and hike in the beautiful state of Arizona. Her passion for gardening and teaching comes through in her being a Master Gardener. Though, one of her very favorite pastime is traveling, with her favorite trip being a safari to Kenya, Africa. Her newest favorite pastime is being a grandmother to a mischievous two year old that keeps her on her toes.
