As Litchfield Park continues to grow, how does the community protect the character and history that make it unique? Join us for a conversation on historic preservation and what it means for the city's future, featuring Litchfield Park Councilwoman Suzanne Allen and Mary Dickson of the P.W. Litchfield Heritage Center.

Councilwoman Allen will offer a local government perspective on balancing development with preservation, while Dickson brings insight from the Heritage Center's work safeguarding the stories, artifacts, and historic sites tied to Litchfield Park's founding and its namesake, Paul W. Litchfield. They will discuss the challenges of protecting historic buildings and sites amid new growth, current preservation efforts underway in the city, and how residents and real estate professionals alike can play a role in preserving Litchfield Park's roots as it builds toward the future.
