Beginning March 1, 2026, new federal FinCEN regulations will require reporting in certain non-financed residential real estate transactions, particularly those involving LLCs, trusts, and entity purchasers. In this one-hour webinar Arizona real estate attorney Benjamin Gottlieb will explain which transactions trigger reporting, who bears responsibility for compliance, what “beneficial ownership” means in the real estate context, and how these new requirements may affect closing timelines and brokerage risk management. This session will focus specifically on the new real estate transaction reporting rule (separate from the Corporate Transparency Act entity reporting requirements) and provide practical guidance for agents, brokers, and industry professionals.
